Fillers, sometimes referred to as a “liquid facelift”, can offer full facial rejuvenation with minimal pain and virtually no downtime. Dermal fillers have the ability to enhance contours, balance the facial profile, and rejuvenate the skin.
Dermal fillers can be a great option for patients seeking to replace lost volume, fill in wrinkle lines, or restore youthful facial contours. They can also be used to reverse signs of aging in the hands. In addition, injectable fillers are a great alternative to more invasive cosmetic procedures, such as facelifts.
WHY CHOOSE US FOR FILLERS INJECTIONS?
Properly injecting dermal fillers requires the combination of an artistic eye, a deep understanding of the anatomy of the face, and years of experience. When it comes to selecting the right filler for your individual needs, the best source of knowledge will be your provider. If you go to an experienced injector, they should be able to guide you to the best course of treatment that is right for you.
At Subtle Perfections Med Spa, we use the most advanced techniques and safety measures to give you the best results! Our Physician Assistant, Nancy Callaham, PA-C, is not only talented, but has a long history of injecting fillers on a daily basis. She has an artistic eye, very gentle hand and high rate of patient satisfaction. Check out her outstanding reviews from patients and peers alike and see before and after pictures of actual patients.
Listen to your provider. It’s not uncommon for patients to love the results of their filler so much to the point where they want more and more. Know when to stop, and trust our provider if she advises you against more fillers. A good practitioner will know the limitations of your face and should advise against additional filler when you begin approaching the limit.
Have realistic expectations. People who overuse fillers do so because they have unrealistic expectations about the final results. Understand that they enhance your current facial traits; they are not meant to give you new facial characteristics. Educate yourself when it comes to fillers and listen to the expected end results. Every filler has its limitations, and as such they are not meant to give you the results of a face-lift. But, instead they are a great way to keep you looking natural and beautiful within the current state of your face.
TYPES OF FILLERS
The most popular class of dermal fillers is based on Hyaluronic acid (HA), a sugar found naturally in human skin. Hyaluronic acid fillers love binding with water molecule.
